Mr. Mom didn't do too poorly while I was gone. I'm impressed that he figured out that "the dishes don't do themselves" as I was told in the first week of my absence. I was relieved that Doug was so good at meeting our little one's needs while I was gone. I was grateful that he found out how wonderful motherhood can be (yes--I said wonderful). I am grateful for our refreshed closeness as we learned a little more about each others roles in the family while I was away and things were a little reversed.
